This crawl is part of our catalogue of iconic British cities. The route takes you through the seaside city of Brighton, located on the South Coast in the county of East Sussex. It is a circular route (starting and finishing at the train station), so it is easy to get home if you’re doing a day trip.

You’ll pass through some of Brighton’s Victorian style housing streets and along the seafront, including its quirky seaside attractions and historic buildings such as the i360 tower and the famous Palace Pier. You’ll also learn about the history of the city from its rise as a popular Victorian seaside holiday destination, to its present-day cultural scene and diverse communities, with stories of famous royal residents from the past, to gruesome murders lost to history.
