This crawl is part of our catalogue of lesser known locations outside of London (within an hour or so train journey). The route takes you through the creative and charming town of Farnham in the county of Surrey, located just South West of London. It is a circular route (starting and finishing at the train station), so it’s easy to return home once finished.

You’ll pass through the main areas of the town, including the high street and shopping area, but also quiet riverside paths, church gardens and secluded back streets. You’ll learn about the agricultural heritage of the area and how it shaped the evolution of the town. You’ll also learn about some of Farnham’s famous residents including writers, sportsmen and social reformers.
