There are lots of public transport options to get to the first pub and away from the last.

Walking through this beautiful stretch of riverside, you’ll have a great view of some unique buildings from the past, while passing through quirky areas and wildlife habitats that make you feel like you’re not in London. But also, river walls that are packed with people during summer evenings to socialise and enjoy the sunset. You’ll learn about the history of this area which was once mostly dockland but has now evolved into beautiful residential streets, whilst also functioning as the centre of rowing in the UK. You’ll hear stories of famous people who once resided here, and how the area affected their work. As well as stories of secret tunnels and smugglers who operated on the river.
